Interior design is a reflection of art, fashion, and architecture trends. This year artists, architects, and designers came together for Paris Design Week that took place September 10-16 in Paris, France.
Maison & Objet organized Paris Design Week for the second time, and there were 150 venues and 250 participants this year. The event featured local and international designers, and some participated in the big Paris Design Week competition.

The event had exhibits, workshops, store inaugurations, new collections, and introduced new designers to the scene. The piece that made jaw drops was a 1680 desk made by Louis XIV’s cabinetmaker. The Pierre Gole desk is available for purchase for about $1.5 million. However, not everything on display this past week is that expensive.
